Avec Eric, the cooking show produced by Anomaly, has picked up its second daytime Emmy.
Last year, the series won the award for its title sequence. This year, it picked up the trophy in the culinary category.
Avec Eric stars Eric Ripert, chef of renowned seafood restaurant Le Bernardin. In addition to producing, Anomaly co-created the series with Ripert and director Geoff Drummond, and co-wrote its first two seasons, which aired on PBS. The ending segment of each episode is filmed in the kitchen at the agency’s Soho-based offices.
Anomaly, which sold a majority stake to MDC earlier this year, handles U.S. creative for Budweiser and is the global lead for Converse. It also holds a stake in eos, a line of beauty products, which won a bronze Effie this month for its marketing (handled by agency Juniper Park).
