Nigel Morris, CEO of Aegis North America, is adding responsibility for the rest of the Americas. After adding oversight of the company’s Latin America operations, he now assumes the title of CEO, Aegis Media Americas.
As a result, Jose Luis de Rojas, the CEO of Aegis Media Iberia & Latin America, is leaving Aegis. He is being replaced as chief of Aegis’s Iberian region by Andre Andrade, currently the CEO of Aegis Media Portugal, who will directly manage Aegis’s Carat, Vizeum, Isobar, iProspect, and Posterscope businesses in Spain and Portugal and report to the head of the EMEA region, Simon Francis. In addition, Alejandro Estevez Zurita, managing director of Aegis Media Spain, is exiting the company.
Aegis Media said the changes are part of a wider restructuring of its global organization, consolidating its reporting structure from five regions to three—APAC (Asia Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand), EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and America. Those operations will be led by their respective CEOs, Nick Waters, Simon Francis and Nigel Morris.
The media company’s U.K. parent, Aegis Group, said the changes have been made to “simplify” its organization and leverage current business momentum through “greater flexibility and integration.” |
